“We are never closer to God than in a garden”, someone once said. The peace and beauty of flowers and gardens nurture the soul. It is in nature that one experiences connectedness to the Earth and the whole of creation.
Among our favorite places to visit are the mountainous splendors of Banff and Jasper – there is much to savour in these northern climates. Wherever our travels have taken us, whether as far north as Alaska or as far south as the Caribbean and Central America, we always marvel at the diversity of flora and fauna. The beauty of creation never fails to inspire and awaken in me a deep desire to capture the essence of that beauty in paint.
